Happy Painting | By MollysArtistry | Hi everyone. it's Molly. Tonight's piece is a little bit different for this artwork. I left my paints a lot thicker. I'm using a mixture of brands and I'm also using pouring medium. I did mix it with United States Flor, which is a self leveler so that the paints are much thicker. I then. Poured a ring pour in the middle and I really wanted a super interesting design for this one because what I'm going to do is swipe through this first. I wanted to stretch it out a little bit and I put the black down on the edges so that I wouldn't have to worry about the design once I stretched it out and now I'm swiping black across. The beauty of this is that I didn't need any other oils or silicone or anything to create the beautiful cells. This just came naturally. I'm just torching to get rid of air bubbles and I decided to do a swipe with white as well, just to give it a little bit more interest. This design is going to be so interesting once I stretch it out. So here we go the paint is moving. And you can see once it hit that black base. it started to flow a lot better. This was a huge canvas to work with. It's so satisfying to watch it stretch to the end. I had paint all over me by the end of this and now I thought I'm just going to add these little tiny details in there just to give it some added interest. I had just enough in the cup to work my way all the way across the canvas for this one. I think it gave it the perfect additional focal point. Look at the beautiful lines.
