The Moon acoustic lamp is a superbly orchestrated fusion of lighting and acoustics by designer Thomas Bernstrand, who has coupled his long experience in the former with his deep interest in the latter. The sound absorbing lamp brings a classic, clean shape to the acoustic lighting segment. Trumpet is characterized by simplicity and a focus on details, which becomes obvious when you look closer. Here, the designers use the musical instrument’s iconic shape to both direct the light and create a subtle connection to the space under the lamp. Trumpet acts as a reversed trumpet - instead of producing sound, it absorbs sound. It has a solid wood body and an acoustic core made from recycled waste fabric and worn-out PET bottles.
