Batesville
Here is some local history to ponder. This piece of property is now known as Riverside Park here in Batesville. The small building behind the tree is where Fred Kealer had his office when he worked for the Corp of Engineers as a clerk and photographer. He took many pictures in the early 1900’s of White River and the construction of lock 1,2 and 3. That part of the river where the big river boats are anchored was known as lake Unico.
