WHITE COTTON DAY DRESS, 1800-1810 Lot: 8 November 11, 2015 NYC New York City Raised dot textured & striped woven fabric, very high empire bodice, square F neckline, 2 draw-string CB ties, long sleeves, very fine cotton mull double ruffle at hem edge, L 51", (minor stains, very small holes & 2 mends on bottom F) very good. Wedding dress - detail, c 1800. Excellent zoom feature! Dress has separate waistband. Bodice has a finished waist edge, whipped directly to the folded edge of the waistband; in back, it is done with whipped gathers.
