The idea was to give an open floor plan without any visual barriers. The space has a clean layout and appears even larger due to natural light in the house. Each space has different mood board yet some common material palate to create an overall language. This 4bhk contemporary home with diverse material palette is an abode designed for a family of 5 including 2 couples and a beautiful baby girl.

The residential dwelling is a locality in the physical basis of the village community of Vadodara; Gujarat, India. The residence is planned by exploring the interaction between surrounding houses, dense greenery, and the village lifestyle.

Sprawling around 2300 sq ft of area, this home for a family of 5 is underpinned by cohesive weaving of discrete characters. The space is characterized by an uber luxurious living area with few handpicked statement art pieces. As we enter the house, herringbone patterned flooring welcomes us into a visually open and grand living room. Usage of grey, brown, beige, black and white neutral tones form a bold, tasteful, and elegant space.

Shared by a family of artists, this two bedroom residential space is what we like referring to as the ‘Summer House’ for all its vibrancy.

For AS Architects’ new office, the principal designers began an attempt to embody his young practice’s central values: honesty and humility, in a compact 600 sq.ft. space located in suburban Mumbai. The Indian traditional interior design was picked as the vernacular of the office design interior rejecting the typical international corporate style of the office.

However, the house being unused for a long period of time had to be renovated. The client wanted to refurbish the ground floor and completely rework the building elevation without disturbing the functionality of the spaces on the first floor. The ideas took shape in the form of the residence creatively redesigned into 'The Brown Envelope'!

The apartment sings a melody of contemporary interior design with a chorus of ethnicity playing in the background, where pops of color translate to green walls and yellow chairs, with patterns running around the entire landscape, creating a trendy present tucked away with the memories of the past. Fortunately, with the brief being crystal clear and the clients, firm on their requirements, we were able to complete the project with the utmost of efficiency with little to no hiccups.

Aayi House is the Marathi term for mother. Aayi is an attempt to create a timeless-looking Goan home, built as a tribute to the client's parents. The project embodies the brief of being contemporary and minimalistic while being in harmony with the countryside context of the site. The site is a corner plot bound by a village road on one side and a main road on the other wherein nestled in the top left corner of the plot, amidst a lush clump of coconut trees, lies the development.

An urbane minimalist apartment sketched and conveyed in a warm environment, located in Surat, Gujarat, surely has redefined the frequency between the minimalism and modern blend of the spaces.
