nina sotom on Instagram: "This is a technique I discovered on my own through trial and error. It’s a personal preference on how I like to cable RDL’s to better match the original RDL form. Personally, for building muscle, I would recommend using DB or BB for RDLs. But I like including cable RDLs in supersets to further sculpt and work my legs.   RDLs are suppose to be done with the weight being pulled downwards (like with DBs or BB) so that’s why Cable RDL get some hate for the weight being pulled on them in-front of you. This is why I prefer stepping as close as I can to the cable to mimic the original form but obviously, nothing is better than the original.   This is just a personal preference I use when I perform Cable RDLs.
