I build this pond last year, so I am sharing it. It is 10ft x 8ft, the middle is 5ft deep on the inside there is a 1ft ledge approximately 18" to accomodate perennial water plants. I used a 2900 gallon/hr pump to move the water into the Aquascape pressurized filter (2000 gallon/hr) than the cleaned water goes back in the pond through the water fall. I used cinder block topped with a flat stone for the pump, which also serves as a hiding place for the fish. I also have another cave for hiding.
