Some of the fraternity/sorority buildings in Berkeley are pretty fantastic. This was purpose-built. It's Theta Delta Chi (founded at Berkeley, 1900) at the corner of College and Durant. The house cost $19,000 to build around 1910. It opened in 1916. From their website: "The 3-story house was featured in the hit 1960’s movie 'The Graduate' starring Dustin Hoffman. The house was designed in 1908 by Norman Shaw. It is one of the oldest fraternity houses on the Berkeley campus." More here…
