For this workshop there will be a selection of pre-printed designs in different colours & on different fabrics for you to choose from. The prints cost £3.00 each & you can buy as many as you like. They can be embellished with fabric, threads, buttons.....whatever you fancy! You can bring your own embellishments & materials to use & Louise will also have a range of materials

A small experiment. Running stitch on the theme of waves or breath. Flat........ Drawn up....... it creates pleats and folds.............. Painted .......... and the dye runs into the folds.

Contemporary Embroidery

Birds have been hatching in October. I've been thinking about making them for years and at last got round to it. This was the first one. I made it into a brooch and sold it immediately. Suddenly I got into gear and continued to make them. Each one is started with a machined outline on felt. I make a pile of them. Next a pretty velvet wing is added. And a new pile is made.
