The year was 1940, and Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were on an RKO movie set to star in the musical Too Many Girls. 28-year-old Ball and 23-year-old Arnaz fell for one another, despite Arnaz being known as a ladies man.

Ricky Ricardo is a main character in the classic 50's sitcom, I Love Lucy. Portrayed by Desi Arnaz, he is a bandleader who entertained audiences every night at the Tropicana. Born in Cuba, he often chided his wife Lucy in Spanish, especially following her antics. The couple would often engage in prank wars, but they truly loved each other and welcomed a child together. He is married to Lucy both on and off screen, as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were married in real life.
