Queen Mother's Greville Collier. A five strand necklace can be worn a two strand and a three stramd necklace. The diamond necklace had originally been ordered by Mrs, Greville from Boucheron in Paris in 1907 and bequeathed to the Queen Mother in 1942. Pink Topaz Parure of Princess Marie of Wuerttemberg. Princess Marie of Waldeck-Pyrmont was born at Arolsen, then part of the principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont, Germany. Marie married Crown Prince Wilhelm of Württemberg, the future king of Württemberg, in 1877, but died in childbirth after only five years of marriage. The parure consists of a tiara, two bracelets, earrings, a large devant de corsage brooch with delicate flowers in the upper part and a large necklace with removable drops.

The Cullinan Diamond, which weighed 3,106 carats in its rough state, was first discovered in 1905 at a mine near Pretoria in South Africa.

Even Queen Elizabeth II has some old pieces of jewelry that once belonged to the Russian royal family.

A sapphire and diamond coronet designed by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria has been acquired by the V&A Museum. It was previously sold by a London dealer to an overseas buyer but was blocked from export by the government in 2015.
