Raised beds and large pots are amazing, in fact I grow nearly all of my crops in them. However, they can be very very expensive to fill with growing medium. The green @vegtrug raised bed in this video are amazing, but can cost upwards of £150-250 to fill. This is where a method called hugelkultur comes in really handy! Now what I am doing here isn’t the traditional method, however it works well for me, and it’s how I’ve filled up 9 large raised beds doing this. I’ve heard and seen a lot of people discussing the issues of this method, and while I understand the concerns, I have had no issues over the last 10 years.
