Boleros originated in Spain. The Bolero is a lively stomping dance. Performers, of said dance, wore cropped jackets, thus, were named boleros. Bull fighters also wear them. I like to fuse cultures. I decided to try my hand at Kwandi quilting. East Africans from Indian descent, hand quilt recycled saris and any pieces of fabric they can get their hands on. It took me 12 hours to hand quilt this bolero. As I perfect the skill, prices will rise. This particular short vest was composed in earth tones. Pretty fall jacket. I hope you love it as much as I do! Size is a Medium on the Small side or a size 8, will fit someone with a 36-inch bust. Please contact me if you have any questions. Colors may not be exact.
