The crofting and fishing village of Torrin lies on the eastern shore of Loch Slapin, 5 miles (7 km) southwest of Broadford (An t-Àth Leathann), on the road to Elgol (Ealaghol), the B8083 . There is a mixture of Victorian white-washed cottages and modern flat-pack houses, and the village has good views of Blaven and Loch Slapin. The ninth day of our road trip took us out of the Corpach/Fort William area to the adorable town of Callander, the last stop of our trip and where we would stay for two nights. En route, we took the beautiful drive through Glencoe Valley, where we hiked to Signal Hall, and visited the village of Luss on Loch Lomand in the Trossachs National Park.
