1. I taped a 16 x 20 and two 8 x 10 inch @gelliarts plates together with crystal clear packing tape.

2. Placement of the botanical materials was often leading off of the Gelli plate to give an expansive feeling to the finished piece.

3. I got lucky on the first take with large calligraphy practice paper, which is VERY fragile and sometimes pulls apart. I use soft, half ripe, roughly 18 x 30 inch sheets. In my online class I’ll be showing ways you can use the fragility to your advantage.
