Little Scientists - ALSC Blog

I’m thrilled to be guest posting on the ALSC blog today to share a science program I offer at my library. Little Scientists is a preschool program geared for children between the ages of 3 ½ to 5 years old. The activities in my science programs are designed to introduce preschoolers to the wonders of science while satisfying their growing curiosity through books and interactive, hands-on learning. Science Notebook Set Up!!

Hello Everyone! A couple of weeks ago we had the opportunity to go to a little science workshop. Thanks to our science instructional specialist, we learned some ways to "fit it all in." An emphasis was made to incorporate and organize vocabulary into our science/reading lessons. We also learned a fun way to store science items. Book Talk Tuesday: What is Science?

Hey Everybody! Today I decided to link up with Mrs.Jump's class for Book Talk Tuesday! I wanted to share a fun little story that's great for getting little learners to think about science.
