Developmental drawing of a for the Myopia-Micro typeface. Particular attention is payed to the join and overlap at the bottom of the letter. Here the aim is to try to avoid an over dense area. The cut or clipping into the stroke allows for the angle of attack into the vertical stem to be as horizontal as possible, therefore allowing the counter space to be larger than a high connection would allow.
