The cape is sewn from wool Fabric, lined with cotton canvas. Decorated with machine embroidery. The front part closes with hooks and eyelets Fits perfectly with a fantasy costume. It is a very practical piece of clothing. If you decide to wear a cape with your winter coat, it will definitely be amazing.
This picture makes me want to wear a proper cloak again. I haven't worn one in years, because they're impractical, at least compared to my "Ronja-hood" (a hooded fingerlength poncho inspired by the movie Ronja Rövardotter), but I've made some clothes that would definitely require fancier outerwear. Too bad I can't fit any more fabric into my stash-chest of drawers-

Herjolfsnes no.76 This is an example of a short hood widened on the shoulders by insertions. It was square, not round on top of the head. The body of the hood was pretty well-preserved. Some suggest that it could have had a liripipe, but the latter has never been found. Based on the shape of the hood, it is impossible to determine whether it did or did not have a liripipe, as a similar hood has been found without a liripipe, as well as a similar hood with a liripipe 67 cm long.
