Naval Warfare 1200-1700

The purpose of this board is to provide images relating to warfare in (primarily) Europe or involving Europeans during the period 1200-1700. It has been my experience that, for most people, the understanding of a particular era of history is considerably enhanced if there are visual images relating to it available. So many things are very hard to describe in words; truly, "A picture is worth a thousand words".
