Set of 32 Dishes: A Swansea Creamware Botanical Dessert Service

Created by the Swansea factory at the end of the 18th century the designs for these dishes are taken from from Curtis's Botanical Magazine begun in 1787. Each flower is beautifully hand-painted. A sliver luster border frames each dish. On the back of the dish is the name of the flower inscribed in iron red. The set includes two dozen dessert dishes Priced at $8,800 for each dozen, one shell shaped serving dishes priced at $1,250, two pairs of oval shaped serving dishes priced at $3,000 each…
