20" (51 cm.) Gofun-finished head with very expressive face in slight smiling expression, brown enamel eyes, closed mouth, black silk hair in elaborate coiffure, wearing cream silk kimono with hand-painted designs, very wide matching obi, and with very elaborate silver, pompom, and tassel hair ornaments. Excellent condition. Japan, Showa era.
