Poospiza nigrorufa, Black-and-rufous Warbling Finch. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, swamps, and heavily degraded former forest. It prefers shrubby areas and thin woods near water, but also visits gardens. The chant is a three-note series of “tweet tweet-chew,” or “who dressed you?”
