Take two cans of yams in your nine by 13 Pyrex dish. Now you might be wondering why I didn't drain the juices. We need those. So you'll see that in a minute. These are yams, okay? Two big cans. Now we're going to take our marshmallows, the big kind and we're going to just strategically place them around the dish. Y'all this is one of my favorite dishes for around the holiday. But eat not the holidays. I think that this should be a dish that people eat all year round. Okay, here we go. I'm just going to dump these out. They're really Okay, let's get this going for you guys. So, we've just put our marshmallows all across the top. There we go. Just like that and then, we've got some gaps in between. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take some of my mini marshmallows. I like this great value brand from Walmart. I think they have really good options and for really good prices, you know. They're always a few dollars cheaper than those big name brand boxes. So, I really appreciate that and like that a lot. Alright, so now that we've got our top completely covered in marshmallows can't really see too many yams poking through. We're going to grab some cinnamon. Alright. And then, just plop that on top until it's kind of evenly coated and then, you're going to want to grab some sweetened condensed milk and again, I'm using the Great Value Brand because this was so much cheaper guys and it's the same ingredient, really. So, that's my little tip. So, I covered it that way. Now, I am going to go this way because we do want all these juices because I'll show you the next ingredient. We really need it to be really moist in here, okay? Alright. So, I think doing my little crisscross and diagonal, I've gotten every single spot. I use the whole pan and this is, I'll tell you, this is 14 ounces and then my pans of yams because I know y'all have questions sometimes. This is 29 ounces and I use two, okay? Now, we're going in with some yellow cake mix. Now, if you don't like yellow cake mix, if you like white or butterscotch maybe could be yummy with this. You could use whatever ingredients you'd like. Even I hear that they make some like keto cake mixes. If you were on a diet or you know have some dietary restrictions you could do that. Okay so the whole box alright? And then you can use your little fingers. My hands are clean. If you think that that's gross. I'm sorry. You can use gloves. Okay? But I don't think that it's gross because I know where my hands have been. I don't know where y'all's hands have been though. So, if you got gross hands, maybe put on some gloves, okay? It's completely packed in tight. Now, I pre-sliced my butter because I just I'm trying to make it easier on myself when I do these videos. I want to get them done real fast. So, here we go. I did a row of four and then I'll just do one more over here of four. Just like that. That was basically almost a whole stick of butter. I guess we could just use these last two. I'll put them right there. And then right there. Perfect. Now to top it off I'm going to use some brown sugar. Again I'm using that great value brand guys. I'm telling you. This great value brand really is. It it it's it's exactly what it says. It's great value. You know what? I'm getting in here though. So, I am going to take my hand. I know it's got flour on it y'all but that's alright. Okay, I'm just going to plop this on top like that. Just kind of sprinkle it till it gets not fully coated but it's pretty even, you know, like every bite is going to have a little bit of brown sugar 'cuz brown sugar and butter mixed together. It's just such a combo. It's like a match made in heaven. It's like peas and carrots, you know? Can't get too much of that. Alright, I feel really good about that. So, this is what it looks like just for reference. I don't have a cameraman today so I'm having just a film on a tripod. Hopefully it's still good quality. Just like that okay? And then last but not least some great value pecans. Or Pecans. Pecans. Pecans. I don't know y'all. What do you say? I I I think I I prefer Pecans. That's how you know my family grew up saying it but I moved to California after I graduated school and they said it so I don't know what the right answer is. All I know is that they're really yummy. I'm going to use the whole bag, okay? Cuz we're going to get our money's worth out of this great value, right? Alright, y'all. Here's one last look at it before I pop it in the oven. My oven has been preheating at 350 and I'm going to pop it in there for about 45 minutes and while that's in here, y'all let me know where you're watching from in the comment. I love getting to find out where everybody's watching from. Alright, we'll check back in. Hey, get a good look at this. Look at this. Okay, now a few things to note. Look at the bubbles. Okay, I can see the bubbles over here. And that look good? So remember all those juices from the yams and the condensed milk? That came up and that's what cooked. Oh That's why it was important to keep those juices. I want to see what looks like when you do a cut of this. Hold on. Let me let me let yeah so soak it all in. Yeah let me just get a look at this and guys you can't smell through the screen but it smells amazing. Yeah there's marshmallows and the butter and the brown sugar. Alright I'm going to do a big serving okay? Big big nice cut because I want to see this thing. Oh yes. Listen. It's got the crispy top and the juicy bottom. And it's got the juice in it. So you don't even need to eat this ice cream. You just put it right on your plate. Yeah I love when it's juicy like this. Ooh. Oh it's just and then hold on. Go go and cut into one of those marshmallows. One of those crunchy things because that's oh. Look at that. Look at that and then. Perfectly cooked and it's got that butter and brown sugar on top. Okay. So I'm going to grab a marshmallows. I'm going to grab a yam and I'm going to set one of those pecans right on top okay? Now that's really hot because look at all that steam coming up from it. Hold it right there. Get a little blow and let me a good look at that bite because this has a little bit of everything. It has the marshmallows and guys we're going to see if this actually taste good or if it was you know, alright, let's see. Okay, here we go. So, here we go. Give it one more blow. Looks, I see a lot of steam coming off that and careful. Mmm. How is it? It really good. Scale one to ten. Ten. Is it a ten? Wow. Try this. Let me know in the comments if you try this.
