Made by Fostoria Glass Co. Circa 1938-1944. Spool Pattern #2550. This ashtray was the largest of three ashtrays that Fostoria sold as a set in blue, gold tint and clear colors. Thick, seamless glass. Vintage Fostoria glass cookie platter with middle handle in Colony pattern. This serving plate is simply gorgeous. It casts the light out from it in the swirling pattern of the glass. As is the case with all vintage glassware, the pictures just never do them justice. Approx 11.5 inches across, and handle stands approx 4 inches up from plate.
Classic 19th Century ABP American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Bowl or Dish
Presented is a very attractive, cut glass dish or bowl made during the mid to late 1800s. The shallow bowl is cut with classical hobstar designs and there are teeth along the ruffled rim. The dish has some good, solid weight to it. This piece is not signed but is wonderful quality and is probably by Sinclair, Libby, Hawkes or Tuthill. This piece is in great condition for its age.
