It can be difficult sometimes to know how to engage our deep core muscles, not just for a flat stomach, but to function optimally in our bodies without pain. Using a mini Pilates ball like this is AMAZING at hitting your deepest core muscles while supporting your low back and posture. So first, place the mini ball on the low back, tuck the pelvis under, and press the low back into the ball. Then, exhale to set a deep core connection.
